I like the way Office updates

Just reinstalled Microsoft Office and got the patches.I noticed a hugh difference in the speed at which the patches are installed.Took less than 3 mins to update.

True Droppyale
Yesterday I needed to check if I had more updates to download for my Office XP and I saw that Microsoft had changed their look and way to download the Office Updates. I really liked the new look and the installation went even faster than before. Maybe its easier and faster because its not an operating system as Windows as Droppyale said, but dont you think Microsoft could make a better job with the Window Updates? I really think they could since for now they have only made trouble in my experiences and actually they shouldnt. Well, just wanted to share my opinion

You know, I've never had any problems with Windows Updates..

ever...

Although I do like the MS office update better than XP.

Then consider yourself lucky Dropp! I can tell you an experience with a Windows patch that I downloaded lonths ago:
I was going to download some security patches for my Windows XP Professional since I thought it would be a good idea. Well, after I downloaded one patch, I restarted my computer and when I boot my internet connection went off, it didnt connect. I called my internet service company and they said no problem found. They tried everything with me for an hour, and I told them I had downloaded the patch beofre this had happened and they told me that has nothing to do with it. Well, they told me to uninstall Norton Internet Security for no reason, and nothing happened. I was desperate, so I uninstalled the patch, and voilá my internet came back. I have had friends that experienced the same, and even worse stuff with the updates. Never had any problem with the Office updates though. So you are lucky Dropp
