Partion Magic won't work with RAID 0 setup?

I'm trying to create a FAT32 partition on my system so I can install SuSE 8.2 (Linux). I have a SATA RAID 0 setup using the Silicon image 3112A RAID controller, formatted in NTFS. I've tried Partion Magic 8.0 and Acronis Partition Expert 2003 and it apears that neither one is able to create another partition on a RAID 0. PM says "too many errors", and AP just fails to create the partition. I've used both progs before on single drives and they worked fine. I can't find any documention on support websites regarding this. Neither program website has any mention one way or another on the prob. Does anyone know how to work around this, or maybe know of another partioning prog that will work? Thanks!

The best way Would be to boot from the Linux CD and let Linux make it's own partition but if you are not sure how to do it DON'T, you could wipe out your disk.
