Gaming This a good monitor?

Frys is havinga sale, i want to know if this monitor is good, they don't say the name, so not sure myself

18" TFT Flat Panel (What's TFT?)

1280x1024 max
300:1 contrast ratio
200cd/m2 brightness
28mm pixel pitch
25ms response time

Would this be good for overall gaming and windows use?

TFT defined

Here is all the info you need on how to pick a Flat panel monitor.

A good TFT Flat panel would be a great buy and upgrade for most CRT monitors, whether you are a gamer or not. They are clearer and that 18" monitor is the equivelent of a 19 or 20" in most CRT monitors in viewable size. The link above should guide you to determine what specs to look for.
