What do you suspect ?

Our office have 8 x pcs using a 16port switch.

All systems using either winXP or win2k.

Access the internet using a speedtouch pro modem + router, linked up with the switch.

Used to work fine for months and then yesterday, can't access to the internet.

Try another router but still the same problem, can connect for a few minutes and then lost connection to internet.

LAN is working fine, can share files and printer with DHCP server from router. Can access to router config. page.

So.... which one likely to be the faulty one ?

Router ? (Tried the other router, still connects for a while only)
Switch ? (No idea how to test...LAN light on router is green)
Phone line ? (ADSL light on router is green)

what provider are you using?

do you have the latest firmware for the speedtouch router?

Thanks, its been running fine, so I don't don't think upgrading the firm ware will help, just another question....

My prolink router runs with a straight cable to PC, but my Diva2440 runs with a cross cable to PC. Don't they have a standard for this....?
