opera is great, it's soooo much faster than IE on my dialup connection.

Hmm its been on beta 7 for awhile now
Wonder when they'll release the next beta

I agree its pretty impressive.
The main problem for me, is sometimes it crashes as it exits

The other thign that I HATE (long time bug) is it sometimes misses pages in the history. So when you hit BACK it goes back two pages in one button

I've had Opera installed twice (2 different directories) on my desktop for some time now. Configure one for "loose" settings for banking, etc. and for regular browsing I have one set w/ java, js, pop-ups, etc. turned off. That way, once you have each configured there's little need to change.

The beta's install over the top of existing installs nicely.

I also experienced closing crashes w/b7. Nothing to that effect so far with 10 & 11 beta releases.

I've been using beta 7 in linux since it came out and have experienced zero problems.
