XP Power Management - activating a screen saver then activating power management to turn off the monitor does not work . Installing SP1 only allows microsoft screen savers to work , two imported screensavers will not work ( monitor does not shut off ) . Power Management on another PC with Windows 98 and the imported screen savers work , monitor shuts off at time set .

so you have the monitor set to shut off after a certain time in power management, but it only does it when MS screensavers are on? have you tried with no screensaver? what are the other screensavers you are using?

enable it in the bios settings and disable ALL OF IT in windows settings.
