Yeah, well...welcome to the boat Rockpile!
I had a dickens of a time getting the cable to work on the lady across my street and spent a good 30 minutes going through a bunch of low level garbage only to be told to see if we can get it to complete the sign up in a few days and call back if it doesn't.
What?! I order something that is available now, I want to be hooked up NOW!
Well, needless to say, after booting into safemode with networking support, we got her service up and running without a hitch..5 minutes of typing and screens and we were done.
Why the hell the guy didn't ask me what OS I was using, and to try safe mode with networking support I don't know...considering nothing else was working!
I didn't even bother to call back and tell them the solution...let the dummies figure it out on their own.
