I saw it and just posted a question about it. I am having problems understanding the methodology with Msoft for the whole patch thingy system. I have friends who arent hyper comp literate...well they got hit with the blaster worm. So I go clean it and do the updates and I set it on auto update and its supposed to notify them when there is an update out there. As far as I can see that seems to work on about half the comps and not work on half the others? Is there a catch to it??

And why then is this latest "patch" not showing up when I do critical updates???? Am I supposed to go tell these peeps and a bunch more customers that keeping up with auto updating patches is not enough??

Well I assume it just hasnt worked its way through the standard windows update thing... I dunno.

That was the focus of a MS security bulliten sent to the IT guy at my dads office, he forwarded it to me this morning.
