Gentoo problem
I just ditched Redhat in favor of Gentoo. Well I got everything installed and working except theres one strange thing bothering me. I installed ALSA 0.9.6 which works fine. Heres the strange part. For some reason the system still tries to load the old cs46xx module on startup and I can't figure out how to stop it. It's not in modules.conf so I don't know where to look. Anyone have any ideas?

Nevermind. I fixed it. Figured out that I had to put cs46xx in the /etc/hotplug/blacklist file.
