i have owned Arctic Silver 3, and Ceramique, and i can honestly tell you, that ceramique is better

With Ceramique i got about 3 Degrees Celcius less at full load than with Arctic Silver.

Arctic Silver conducts, so if you put too much on, it can "flow" and link your L bridges causing a blown CPU, or one that doesn't work.

remember, you want it razor thin on the cpu, its not designed to be like ranch dressing on celery.

What h/s fan do you have, what mb/cpu are you using?---it doesnt usually take a "tool" to remove one (h/s fan combo) unless you consider your fingers a "tool" (I do) and you already have them...

well i have some generic dfi mobo, amd xp 1800+, tt volcanoe 9 cool mod currently with no thermal anything i heard there was a tool to help get the clip off to take the heat sink off (and it would be helpful since it has an 80mm fan, and there is only little room to begin with

I have always used a slot head screwdriver to remove the heatsink clip. If that fan overlaps to much to get the screwdriver in then you may have to remove it first.
