Kids Hardware independent images with Windows 2003 server??

Hi!

It's possible to make a hardware independent image from
Windows 2003 Server?
When Yes give me some information how to make it?
When Not tell me to what extent is it possible to
create a hardware independent image of a Windows 2003 server?

should I use 3rd party software for this...e.g. from PowerQuest?

regards,

gicio

Are you wanting to make an image of an Operating System off one machine to be used on another? Do you have a multi user license?

I have tried this with 2000, and it worked flawlessly as long as the computers had the same motherboard. As soon as a new mobo was introduced I would get a BSOD with inaccesible boot device
