The Original RED ALERT win95 ed

Does anyone have a solution as to how i can run the original RED ALERT on my laptop? this is a win95 aplication but i have a win2000 machine! Any Takers?????

appcompat might help (application compatibility update), as long as emulating (I think emulating options are available after appcompat update).

I have some friends who tried this and they had to give up and just use 9x.

Depending on how much you like/love the game, you could add a partition and dual-boot 9x and 2k?

You can get the DOS one to run on Win95 emulation just fine, but not the win version unfortunately

simple solution to run 95' apps on 2k machine:

See the icon on the desktop from installed game?
Click it with the right mouse button and go properties.
Go click compatability, then check mark "run this program in compatability mode for: )
Windows 95 is what you select, then hit Apply button.

All done, now it should work fine!
