Icons with a mind of their own

I just completed the installation of Win98/Y2K/XP on separate partitions, ghosting all the way. With the final install of WinXP, my Win98 desktop icons all moved to the right up against the right hand side of my right monitor. Does anyone know how to stop Win98 from relocating my icons every boot? I want them on the left and Win98 wants them on the right.

I just installed Radeon9600 non-pro with 3.7 Catalyst on a a7v board.

Cheers!

Disable autoarrange in the desktop menu (rt. click on the desktop) move mouse over "Arrange Icons", uncheck Autoarrange.

Auto arrange would put the icons on the left all nicely arranged in rows. These icons are not in a nice row, a little staggered and on the right.

Cheers!
