Hi,
I m looking for a software to download windows and drivers update. I can't download any updates useing IE6. Download doesn't start. Please help me. Thanks.
What OS are you using?
I know for sure that XP can just do windows update without using your internet browser at all. I'm pretty sure 2000 can also but not positive. 9.x I really cant remember (been so long since I've used them).
If its XP simply right click on my computer --> properties --> automatic updates --> little check next to "keep my system up to date" blah blah
In IE6 go up to the tool bar and click on "Tools" then "Internet Options". Click on the "Security" tab and make sure that your "Internet Security Level" is set to "Medium". This should allow IE6 accept the MS Update software and downloads.
