Laptops are too Expensive

What do you think?

For something that is a pain to upgrade, more fragile than your desktop, easier to loose and having rarer and/or more trouble to keep and maintain they are very very high priced.

I know it's because they are mobile and compact and be brought anywhere with about the same power as your TOTL desktop but still man......they are WAY too expensive. It's almost $100 for 100mhz. Then you get some ram, price skyrockets.....forget about a decent videocard for an affordable price.

GAH

i agree. thats why i never owned one until my friend sold his dell latitude p3 700 with all the components built in for 500 bucks. i couldnt refuse. if it wasnt for him id still NOT own one and be annoyed about it.

you can get them cheap if you buy them used online as well. just have to see how long the warranty is depending on who you buy it from.
