a svelt 466kb, while the windows netscape plugin is 643kb.
Sweet I was just about to go to there site and have them notify me. Unfortunately I don't have the money to purchase the upgrade yet. I will probably buy through the local university again.
Just installed fireworks and flash. I’m very happy with flash so far but I don’t see much difference in fireworks. A bit smoother and a bit easier to use over all no significant changes to make me want to dish out 300 buck. But the text is easier to work with, I will give them that. It looks like they threw in a few very minor changes so they could call it version 7.0 and package it with Flash Mx Pro. I was hoping for a few more tools and filters. Maybe a spline like tool (refering to ACAD) to work with vector objects. If they would just spend a little time on developing fireworks they could bring a powerfull tool to the market.
Well after spending 2.5 days with fireworks I’m not to impressed. It does however stay running longer than 6.0 I had fireworks running non stop literally from the second I installed it up until about 3 minutes ago when it crashed. Its pretty good with system resources but its the same exact thing as the previous version just a bit more stable.
