which card????

OK, thanks to all who are going to get a new card soon. You have been a great help. I'm going to buy a 9800 PRO either 128/256. My question is, will there be a difference in performance depending what brand of card i get???

It depends on the types of games that you play. Very simply, cards with more RAM are slower, but it takes more to bog them down. Why? The more RAM there is, the more data the system has to chew on and the larger area it has to search for info so it'll be slower (minutely). But, if you have a game with a very large need for RAM, the card will perform better and lag less. Is either of these factors going to be evident outside of benchmarks? ...not really.
