All In Wonder problem with XP

Hi Guys New Prob for me although I have seen a few threads about this particular issue on other forums the fix did not work for me. so I bring this problem here.

I just purchased The Ati radeon all in wonder 9000 and the card works great graphics wise except when i go to play my tv tuner I get an xp error message saying that atimmc.exe has encountered an error and will be shut down.

Now I have tried 4 sets of drivers properly and mismatched for the hell of it, I've applied 1 xp patch that supposedley resolves this issue but didn't I even bought the ati 7500 all in wonder thinking it was card specific but I get the exact same error at the exact same time with all sets of multimedia drivers.

So now I'm sitting here with 2 decent all in wonder cards and 8 days to decide if I want to return them. I'd like to keep the 9000 but if I can't get the tv to work I might as well just pick up a 256 meg video card with no tv for the same price.

does anyone have any ideas how to resolve this issue. Any thoghts would be greatly appreciated

Thanks in advance Redcaes

Are you installing all drivers in the order specified at the ATI site? Uninstall al your drivers or do a system rollback or whatever it is called. And install them exactly as specified by ATI. My Radeon All-in-wonder has not hiccuped in a long time. And I have re-installed countless times

i had the same problem before; it's not actually the drivers but the multimedia software itself. Just download the newest multimedia center softrware off of ati's website; it worked for me
