Linux and Wireless

I have two needs, Wireless G networking and Being able to use linux with that. I am getting a wirless g router and need a way to hook it up to linux wether it be by wireless g pci card usb adapter for wireless or whatever, i just need to find a pci card or something that can be used with linux

What wireless router are you getting? Getting a card that's the same brand may help the signal and proove to work better.

I'm getting the Linksys WRT54G, if the linksys WMP54G pci adapter will work with linux ill get that but i really need a wireless g adapter that will work with linux thx

Don't do the PCMCIA + PCI adapter for a PC!

Granted it might be easier now, but way back when it was terrible! lol

I ended up saying hell with it and just bought a PCI card

Linux-Wlan.com is the primary developer of Linksys based linux wireless drivers.
There is a page on there that shows compatibility with each card for numerous other companies as well.
