Finance SATA question!!!

Ok, with getting the asus nforce motherboard and all, I'm planning on purchasing a SATA hard drive. I'm really don't want to spend anything I don't have to, so what I'd like to know is:

I'm considering either getting (1) 120gb SATA 7200rpm
or
(2) 37gb 10,000rpm WD Raptors (using Raid+0)

the first option I can get for about $100, but the second is about $270
so what I'd like to know is, by raiding those 10k raptor's together vs using a single sata 7200rpm, am I going to see a very big difference? If the difference won't be noticable then I don't want to spend all that extra money! And by noticeable, I mean playing games (MOHAA, BF1942, MS Flight Sim 2004)

the 10,000RPMs are going to give you a noticable increase in speed. I don't think RAID is worth it though, as I've had 2 RAID arrays in my time and both were actually pretty much the same speed as normal.

My suggestion is get a 10,000rpm for you to install windows onto and then as large a HD as you can for mass storage (put your fav games on the 10k though). That'll be the best option IMO.
