UDMA133 HD with UDMA100 mobo?

Will a hard drive with Ultra DMA 133 work with mobos that have only Ultra DMA 100 support, like the ECS K7S5A Pro?

A simple yes or no would be fine. I don't have much time because I need to buy the hard drive tmw.

Thank you! You're a lifesaver! =) I'm kinda running out of time and this build needs to be done by tmw night and I wasn't sure. I checked on Google and Ask.com and all I found were old articles talking about when UDMA barely came out.

I want to add another question. If I use a 160 GB ata-100 HD on an ata-100 motherboard, do I need to put in an adapter? I'm not quite clear on the 127 GB limitation thing.

http://www.seagate.com/support/kb/disc/tp/137gb.pdf

Apparently a lot of people have used Partition Magic to resize the 127gb partition and add the rest afterwords.

Hmm... this 137 GB limit thing is new to me... the largest hard drive I've ever had is 80 GB. What's it all about? Does that mean that any hard drive larger than 137 GB needs to be partitioned so that the whole hard drive can be recognized?

Edit: seems the link Telexen gave says the limit is 137 and I originally said 127.

I wish I knew myself ... I don't have any experience with drives or arrays this large.
