Internet Problem (IE/Netscape/MS Client)

Something was wrong with my internet but I think I fixed it because it's not cutting in and out every 3 seconds like it was before. But, I accidently uninstalled Microsoft Client for in the Local Area Connection Properties and I think that may be the reason why Internet Explorer and MSN Messenger do not work anymore. I cannot sign onto MSN Messenger it says I am behind a Firewall which I am but this has worked before and I checked to see if ZoneAlarm is allowing the program and it is. Netscape works but IE is not. It cannot find any pages. I get a Page Not Found error all the time. I have two questions...

1. Does anyone know what is wrong with IE and MSN Messenger and what I have to do?

2. I would like to get Microsoft Client back, can someone please tell me how. I reinstalled Windows XP Home but it is still not there. I went to "install" it and it says I need a disk for it, I have used the WinXP disk and it still did not work, maybe I didn't show the correct path. Any ideas?

Please help

FireWolf

Edited:
I got Client Microsoft Back so don't have to worry about that, but I still can't get IE and MSN Messenger to work, I included a screenshot of the exact message. And I have tried what it says.

Im not sure, But I think you can Reinstall "microsoft Client" in the Add and remove programs/...Windows Components..

I removed MSN 8 a while back, and couldn't sign on to "hotmail".. so I reinstalled windows compontents from the Add and remove programs section and all was well. Yours might be different.. But this was my experience..

Go back to the Local Area Connection Properties. Click on Install. Then choose Client. And then select Client for Microsoft Networks.
