A friend of mine designs clothing and makes it her self and she wanted a little logo to put on them so what do you think?

Looks very simple and professional. Based on the look of it, I'm assuming it's a line of wonen's clothing for the more professional person? If so, you did a great job. If not, tell us what type of clothing it is and maybe we can help.

Instead of "Fashion Design", try "Fashioned by:"

You hit the nail right on the board. Womans clothing. Its a mixture of punk with a very fimanan look. They are actualy very nice. Not like running around in torn up baggy pants with hoops studs xtra zippers straps and what not on them. They have every thing sewed tight to show of the femenan curves but still having the punk flare. They straps that usuly hang down run along the leg and such its prety kewl.

It's a good logo, but I'd have to see some of the type of clothes she makes in order to know if the logo fits her style.

But assuming it does match her style of clothes, it's good. The 2nd one is definitely better.

I'd try it without the underline under "Fashion Design:". And maybe try a different font for "Fashion Design" as well. Try using a more plain looking font and/or make it's color be dark gray instead of black. This will give more emphasis to the more important words, the name of the designer.
