Need Opinions
Flash Site:
I want it 3D, but I havn't had much experience in creating 3D interfaces, only some swift 3d exports to flash as buttons and static animations. I'm no guru to web 3d but im more than a n00b I know a WIDE variety of graphics programs to help create this site like:
- Macromedia Flash (creation)
- Macromedia Dreamweaver (publish)
- 3D Studio Max (design)
- Adobe Premier (design)
- Adobe Illustrator (design)
- Adobe Photoshop (design)
- Macromedia Fireworks (optimizing)
and other various programs.
I need your opinions on a couple hashed up ideas I have, give me your criticism and input, any ideas, techniques and whatnot that you can.
---------------------
3D Interactive Interface Ideas:
1. Make 3D Animated movies from 3D Max as AVI, then export them as GIF Sequences from Premier. Use Each GIF Sequence/loop as a button, background animation, or transition. (High Quality, possibly most trouble)
2. Use the Swift 3D Exporter to render SWF directly from 3D Max to use in Flash as movies, transitions, buttons or background animations.
3. Render AVI movies and encode them in premier to the lowest filesize possible, then use them as static animations for the site.
--------------------
I assume the GIF sequences would make the filesize of the site quite large if I want to keep quality intact (which is my main goal; high quality) but I don't want to make a cable modem choke if ya know what I mean.
Swift 3D is ugly, looks like a cartoon but has very low filesizes to work with which would make it easier on the connection while degrading graphical quality.
The AVI movies would be tricky because of the timidness of the web, peoples connections, filesize and whatnot. If the world revolved around DIVX I'd encode in that and have miniscule, high quality loops.
So what's your take on this situation?
