Iwill KK266Plus & Athlon XP Thoroughbred

Does anybody know if Iwill KK266Plus can take Athlon XP thoroughbred (A or B) core CPU?
I'm planning to upgrade it from old Athlon 1,33GHz to the latest XP model and don't want to buy if it is unable to handle it.

Iwill website says it can handle up to XP 1900+. I assume that's Palomino core. So, if anybody has installed Thoroughbred core (or even tried Barton), please let me know.

Thanks
Bidzina

It'll take everything yup to a 2600+ processor, running at 266 fsb. As for barton, t-bred and palamino, they're all socket A (462) so they'll all fit.
Wonder why this took so long to get answered

Well... actually it appears to be not that simple. They all fit, but as I was told in other forum KK266Plus BIOS unfortunately only supports Palomino cores (as I expected).

yep, I see what you're saying now.

This guy used a t-bird in his tests and all went well.

Here's a good thread about some people getting a t-bred to work and some not, sounds like a lot of work either way, IMO.

Here's the link:

I think that guy in the review used Athlon T-bird not T-bred.
