Remote Desktop Installation

I have a friend that has Windows 2000 Server. I need to have remote desktop set up on his computer so that I can use it. How can I set it up on his?

Thanks.

I'm not sure that it's included with 2000 Server ... I'm sure it is with XP Pro though. If you have XP Pro, put your CD in his system, let it autorun, choose Perform additional tasks, and Setup Remote Desktop Connection

Or try something like Tight VNC ... A lot of people like it better

I know how to setup client but, I don't know how to setup server. Its for connecting my Server 2003 to his Server 2000 so I can setup something for him.

For Remote Desktop or VNC?

For Remote Desktop make sure you have it enabled (System Properties) on both systems, and make sure the account you want to use for logon for each has access. Make sure you have a password on each account also.

It's Terminal Services in W2K server. You can setup Terminal Services in Remote Administration mode without additional costs. Running it in Application mode would cost money for additonal TS licenses though.
