mp3 sharing questions???

i have win2k pro on one hdd and i have another hdd setup so that i can put all my music on it.

i want to share just the music hdd so that i can access it from my system that has the speakers connected to it.

my question now is---when i access the music hdd with winamp(winamp is on my speaker system) will the whole music hdd load up in winamp?(i have over 10gb of music)

if so how what would i have to do so that only the music that i want to listen to at the time loads?

Map the drive onto that system and treat it just like you would a local drive.

ok. so when i map the drive to my system it will open and show all the music and i can just pick the ones i want to listen to.

is this correct?

It will appear as just another drive on the system.

You can assign it any unused letter you would like.

hey robin.. try setting up different playlists for different moods.. then you can just open the playlist that fits your mood and get the music you want
