Card reader

I was browsing around for stuff to buy and I came across this magstrip reader. I would love to buy it as security for my system. The problem is, how would I do it? I don't have the hardware to make cards and I don't know where to get the software to read cards I already have.

You need to get a card maker.

Is this for a home system? Why would you want that kind of security? It's not really worth the hassle for a home system unless you live with people who try to use your PC that you don't want using it.

It would basically be one of those things to have. an added safety measure for my computer. I don't like other people having access to my stuff.
