Systems Monitor keeps going blank HELP!

About a year ago, my monitor suddenly went blank one night while on the internet, and I couldn't get the picture back. Nothing worked. I ended up having to replace both my monitor and my graphics card for it to work again. So I was happy that the problem was gone....

Until now. For the past couple months the same problem has been happening every week or two, but the monitor always works again after I turn the comp off and back on. But I'm scared that one day, it might not come back on, and I'll have to replace my monitor and graphics card again!

So does anyone know what could be causing this problem? It seems to only happen while I'm on the internet... but other than that it looks like it's completely random. Anyone with any info please help!

Never thought of that. I don't know if it's even the monitor's problem though, because this is my second one, and when I replaced it it still didn't work until I replaced the graphics card too. It's like they both died at the same time... one killed the other I guess... but I'll still try giving it a whack next time it happens anyway.
