Systems Radeon 9800 screen monitor/screen corruption

I got my new Crucial Radeon 9800 Pro this morning in the post

But am having difficulties getting it to work

What I did was delete the drivers for my Nvidia card and then removed it. I then turned meh pc off. Removed the Nvidia card put the Radeon in connected all leads and stuff.

Turned the pc on the Radeon pro starts whirring around good sign But then I look at the monitor and it looks like pieces of the display are missing?

Look

So my Nvidia card is back in now

Also my screen looks like this when booting up and in the BIOS when the Radeon is plugged in.

Is it a power supply issue? I unplugged everything baring the card and proccessor and it still didnt work. Even if I dont plug in the power leads I get a warning message the is all messed up.

I rang the people who I bought it off and they said I should have my AGP voltage at 1.7v. Where in the BIOS would I find this I couldnt find it anywhere

Im a Radeon virgin BTW

What motherboard is it? In mine, the agp voltage is under the advanced settings, the same place you go to set the fsb and stuff like that.
