Anomalous behavior with ABIT IS7

I just recently built a new system. Here are the specs:

Abit IS7 (BIOS BUILD #16)

Intel Pentium 4 - 2.4C - 800MHz FSB HyperThreading

Western Digital 120GB IDE w/ 8MB Buffer

Seagate 47 GB SCSI HDD

WEAKNESS: 512MB Kingston ValueRAM PC 2100

US Robotics 56K modem

Adaptec AHA-2940UW SCSI

WEAKNESS: PNY GeForce 2 MX 440

Well, like the thread topic states, I am experiencing anomalous behavior I believe may be associated with this board. Here's what happens:

In many of my 3D games (the one with the most noticable problem being Homeworld), I experience very odd graphics glitches, BIG glitches. For one, in homeworld, any 3D object would be rendered invisible, only the background and the lights on the ships showing up (Ill post screenshot later)..... how wierd. And then after getting to a certain point that way, the games just crashes to the desktop. And not only with Homeworld, but with other games too. I thought it might be my video card, even though it shouldn't be because I ran those games on that card before. swapped video cards and memory, reformatted and reinstalled XP and all other kinds of stuff. Still the same result EVERY time. Is that strange or what?

Don't get me wrong, I am very impressed with this board. I find it very stable, powerful, and overclockable. However with the graphics issue, which I'm almost certain is NOT video card related, I'm wondering if its the motherboard and if it should be RMA'd.

Please help me.

Oh, and I do not have GAT enabled, nor is it overclocked.

It might be your RAM; that pc2100 is really hamstringing your system, and could be the culprit of your problems. get some decent pc3200 in dual channel and try it out; if that doesn't work, then maybe an rma is a good idea.
