fixing viruses on foreign OSs??? please help

there is a person in my lab who has the korean version of XP pro. she has a virus and I have been having a heck of a time trying to remove it with the normal symantec stuff... can anyone tell me how to get the windows updates and any other advice that you have on the issue?

Go to windowsupdate corporate site, download korean patches from there and install them on the computer.

If the virus is a common or something virus, get eg. mcafee stinger and run it from the floppy.
