Tried to cancel AOl . Was asked why and they would give us
2 free months. And to call back and cancel or fax it in. Was given
false information about the fax number and everything else. Said they never
received any fax.
Also was billed for those 2 months that was suppose to be free. When I
tried to cancel again was given the run around. Had to call back 3
times and wait on hold. Was even hung up on by one. Just sick and tired of
this crap and want to cancel so I don't get charged for something I
don't use.
Demanding a refund. Was told that was not possible. Was also told that they did not belive me when I told them I cancelled and that I could be making that up. But yet they have a record of me calling and requesting a cancellation. .
Which I did within a month after they said that. They said the fax # the person I delt with was not even there fax number. So they say they never recieved it. Figures.
But it was never taken care of by them. Which I find out on the Internet is a big problem.
What should I do? I want my money back.
Yeah I know this is another AOL sucks thread. But I am sick and tired of dealing with these con artists.
