Saving/backing up Drivers??

I have always heard that windows drivers cant be saved.

So what is this program doing exactly?

http://www.sharewarejunkies.com/03zw...versbackup.htm

Anyone ever used it or anything quite like it? To save drivers?

I remember working on a ladies comp..she had a number9 vid card and I could NOT find a driver, lol...uhh, realized it AFTER I had formatted. (though I think I could find it now but anyway)

drivers are usually a bunch of DLL, INI, SYS, etc files. They can be easily identified as non-MS files ... but I still wouldn't trust that program.

It's best to keep driver setup files or all the files downloaded from the manufacturer and use those instead.

I guess with the exception being the case where...like I ran into...you have a working machine that needs rebuilding but you cant FIND a driver, lol. And you wish you could just save the files off the machine.

Got a PCI model 764 Motion here. Not a bad card. Win 98 might have the driver. I have a win 95 driver disk.
