Winxp Update problem

First off yes i do own a legal copy

now the issue all start when the blaster worm hit ( i patched it a while back so i didnt have the problem) the problems seems to be the windows update site.

It says

"The Windows Update site has been updated. To update your version of the software and begin using Windows Update, click Update Now."

so i click update now, (not clicking the Always trust contents from MS, cause i dont trust them as far as i can throw them)

But when i click yes it brings me back to:
"The Windows Update site has been updated. To update your version of the software and begin using Windows Update, click Update Now."

Have you tried to go and check the Windows Update support link? I agree, Windows Update is a real pain, it always gives me problems. Although the support section is good, sometimes it isnt enough. I really dont know what happened to you, but Im sure if you contact Microsoft they will help you solve the problem. Hope this helps GZ3!
