what is the notation "LV"

what's the notation of "LV" on this 9200 radeon card? http://www.gameve.com/store/gameve_v...=1184&showit=1

is it any different? anyways, i think i've made my mind up with buying the 9200 radeon... since i dont know what the LV means, i found a better site that has a 9.8 rating here http://www.monarchcomputer.com/Merch...ct_Code=190780 only problem is, i don't think i see a fan on that heatsink!

what do you guys think?

Hi there,
You are mostly better off with a card that comes without a fan, particularly a budget card, because moving parts are often the first thing to wear out or start faulty. And there are a number of cards on the market with fanned and non-fanned version.
Regards,
Elad

No fan is intended, and wanted, on plain 9200 (250/200 core/RAM clock, 128 bit RAM bus width) and 9200SE (even lower clocks, 64 bit). These Radeon chips have a low enough power consumption to warrant that. Only 9200pro (275/275 or even higher) needs a fan.
