I downloaded the Demo and played it once. I dont feel any particular need to buy this release. I wouldn't say it's bad or anything, just not my flavor.

The maps are GOOD, very good. The vehicles are ok too.

I was thinking of giving up BF42 due to EAs badd support/patches. But this has made me change my mind.

The maps are very good. The new vehicles are meh, at best. Is it worth your cash, no. And I mean no by a long shot. Was Road to Rome worth it in the end? No. Most people still play maps that shipped w/ the original game and the free mods that came out for it. So my advice, skip this add on.

Of course I am an avid hater of EA so take my statement w/ a grain of salt. :P

I downloaded the demo last week and I love it, however I dont know if its worth the money but I beat BF: 1942 in a week and I think it needs more maps

beat bf:1942 in a week? Are you talking the one player mode?

really, the game is totally online, so you cant beat it. the one player mode is more a practice at best.

Luckily when I got there, they didn't have any as I kinda changed my mind because $30 was pretty steep for an expansion. I could pretty much buy a whole new game for that price.

Besides, I have RTR and probably wouldn't notice if it was gone.

The OG BF42 is good enough.

I'm going to wait for it to go on 48 hour madness at gogamer.com before I buy it. The demo seemed kinda fun, but it was more fun playing Desert Combat at my last LAN party.
