Best gaming keyboard?
I just wanted to get people's ideas of what the best keyboard out on the market is, namely for gaming. I currently have a Logitech Elite, but I really could do without all the extra media buttons all over it... I hate them! Plus I have had it about a year, not spilled anything at all on it, and the key action is starting to get pretty sticky.
I have looked at things like the EluminX keyboard and the Virtually Indestructable Keyboard on different websites, but most of your run-of-the-mill Comp-USA's and Best-Buy's don't actually have these things so you can try them out.
Whats your favorite?

I don't use anything special.. special meaning made for gaming.. I use a MS Office keyboard. before that it was a MS Pro.. hell for a gaming rig I'd love to get my hands on a old AT solid steel 101 key keyboard.. those puppies weighed in at like 10 lbs, and had solid contact keys that clicked when you used that.. those babies were meant to last.. =)

I just upgraded from a Dell Queitkey to a Logitech( I think Elite)
My Dell k/b wasn't even it's original color anymore. I got the Logitech for gaming and it seems to be nice. Still trying to find a game that will let me bind the scroll wheel on the keyboard to game functions. The media buttons scattered around the top I like. I'm not a fan of the F-lock button though. The PC boots with it off by default. I am curios as to what most gamers choose for keyboards also is basically why I posted + I thought it was funny I just upgraded to what your leaving behind! |

I like the new(er) Logitech ones ... my dad has one and it feels really nice. I've torn through these POS MS keyboards.

I like those logitech elites, they are nice! Im using an old one from a win95 comp. Why? Cuz I wanted something I could screw around with, pound on, break, mod, without losing any money. People look at me funny when Im sitting at a LAN and start pounding on my keyboard. They wont dare with their expensive keyboards. I've thrown my across the room.
