VGA Splitter?

is there such thing?

for a dual monitor setup, is there an adapter that would split the vga output to use 2 monitors?

or is the only solution getting a Video Card with 2 outputs?

any thoughts?

thanks

2 cards... a physical 'splitter' cannot separate left side signals from right side signals, unless it has an electronics box, which needs power, software, etc.

I just bought a cheap Geforce 2 PCI for my other monitor that I will not be playing games on. Works great and very easy to set up. No reason really to get two high end cards considering one will be pci and gaming is generally on one monitor.
