Bue screen, stack errors

My screen goes to bright blue and give the message, "terminating thread due to stack error. Possible fix might be in System. ini but have been there with no help. Sometimes I can get back by hitting any key but most times its frozen and I have to turn it off at the button. Have tried MS for possible patches but no luck. I am running ME with a Fujitsu lifebook. TIA

Win9x/Me sets a low threshold for spare stack pages by default. You may need to increase the spare stack pages with the appropriate configuration setting within the system.ini setup file. Keep increasing the number until the problem disappears.
