Terminal23: Do you still have that problem? My gf called me today, and she has the same problem...
Is it still down or has it come back up by itself?
I have no probs accessing MSN/hotmail...

There have been no significant DDoS attacks against MS this week. Perhaps this is the cause?

Thanks!
It just so happens that she's on AOL...
Will wait to see if the problem sorts itself when AOL gets it together...

Thanks for the news item RobRich. I was wondering why I couldn't do a WIN XP activation online last night (had to do it by phone - what a pain) I also had trouble reaching the WIndows update site, and this morning I can't get to MSN.com either. I'm running RoadRunner, so that must be the cause. Hopefully they get it fixed soon.

are there any ideas on what type of glitch it could be? for the past week, when I sign on to hotmail, it says my password is invalid, when I know I'm typing it correctly (just using the pointer fingers). i have to reset the password whenever i sign in.

Seems like everything's back to normal now - I was just able to get onto MSN.com as well as the Windows update site (to download yet another "critical security update" - thank god for broadband)
