Asus 9520 FX5200 tv out question

Hello all.

I have installed an asus 9520 Video Suite VIVO card on my Asus A7n8X Delux motherboard and was trying to hook up the tv out to see what kind of picture I will get.

When I connect either the s video or RCA video out, I get just a black screen on my tv, like it is not receiving a signal.

Is there something you have to do to make the tv out work?

thanks in advance.

You will have to enable the TV out in display properties.

Right click over a blank area on your desktop, properties, settings tab, advanced, nVeiw. Choose the output from there.

Probably not going to like the output too much tho.

Edit:

I just relized that it was the VIVO version . You still have to do the above but make sure you have the proper cable plugged in the "output" on the breakout box. You might find that the card is better for watching the tube on you computer. Use the composite out on your VCR / TV / Etc. to the composite in on the breakout box. Run your sound to the line in on your sound card (maybe labled aux).

Right click over a blank area on your desktop. Choose properties. Click the settings tab, click the advanced button in the lower right of the dialog box. A new dialog box appears. Click the GeForce tab and the sub-menu should pop up along side allowing futher access to settings.

This is with the drivers I linked to you earlier.

Hope that helps!
