Internet Reboot problem

I've been having a problem with my sister's new computer rebooting after being on the internet for any amount of time.
Doesn't matter what they're doing on the internet, it's just completely random. It's connected to the internet with DSL using the onboard ethernet.
It gives you the option of using either the ethernet OR USB.

Specs:
MSI KM2M Combo-L Motherboard
XP 1700
Windows XP Home
256 Megs of RAM (Crucial) PC2100
Onboard Video, sound, ethernet, USB
All drivers are current

It runs fine when they are not on the internet, but as soon as they start messing around on the internet is when the reboots happen.
It acts as if they went to "start", "turn off", "reset". But they don't.

I don't think it could be the blaster virus or anything, because we've reformatted the Hard drive and installed Panda Firewall/Anti-Virus BEFORE connecting to the internet and immediately downloaded all of the patches for Windows. And we even used utilities to check for the virus, but it found nothing.

My only thought is to try using the USB for the internet instead of the ethernet, but I don't know....
This is a brand new build, and it's getting frustrating.

Winxp desgined is to restart the computer when a blue screen happens. That way a non geek person wont see the blue screen (smooth way to get rid of the BSOD eh? )

right click on my computer, click propertise, click advance, click start up and recovery, then unclick automatic restart. from here you should be able to read the BSOD screen and maybe give you some input on what the problem is.

Post it here too

k, thanks.
I don't know much about XP yet, still using 2000.

But I won't be able to check until tonight after work,
so I'll let you know.

Well, I switched the modem to use the USB port instead of the Ethernet port... All seems well at the moment. No reboots or anything after being online for over an hour.

I also did disable the automatic restart option. (stupid feature)

Guess it may have just been a problem with the onboard ethernet...

Here is the EXACT error message my sister gave me when the computer BSOD'd on her.
Any Clue?

A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer.

DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR-EQUAL

If this is the first time you've seen this stop error screen, restart your computer. If this screen appears again, follow these steps:

Chec to make sure any new hardware or software is properly installed. If this is a new installation, ask your hardware of software manufacutere for any windows updates you might need.

If problems continue, disable or remove any newly installed hardware of software. Disable BIOS memory options such as caching or shadowing. If you need to use safe mode to remove or disable components, restart your computer, press F8 to select Advanced start up options, and then select safe mode.
