Talk New to Unix / Linux

I've been using Microsoft operating systems now for over 10 years, but never really tried using Unix / Linux. Can anyone point me in the right direction / show me a beginners tutorial etc... or even any pointers as I really want to get familiar with it.

Thanks Guys,
Moep

www.linux.org has a great tutorial, in fact it's a basic course in Linux.

Unix/Linux are functionally the same, even between Unix variants like HP-UX and Tru64 are different. If you get comfortable with Linux the others will come fairly naturally.

If you want something at home that is more "traditional" Unix, try freebsd, http://www.freebsd.org
