The best CD Burner?

My POS elements Silver bullet crapped out on me a few days ago and I am going to replace it, I was thinking a Liteon or a TDK. Out of bordum I posted this poll to se some opinions.

I voted without talking first.

It depeneds on what you want to do.

For backing up games, Liteon is the best drive in the world at getting through.

For backing up Music, TDK or Plextor are the best at copy protection.

Of course any of these drives will do all media, but I'm stating what they excell at.

Other than those two fields, any drive is fine.

I've owned and used Yamaha and Lite-On with good results.

For something good and cheap, get a LiteOn. For the absolute best, the Plextor 52x32x52 cant be beaten!

Two Yamaha's here and both SUCK! My 6X SCSI drive died, and my 16X IDE drive is flakey sometimes (doesn't recognize CDs). My next drive will either be a Plextor or a Lite-On.
