Kids Folder Opens on Startup, don't want it!

Working on my cousin's new tower I just built for him.

I've got a folder that opens on startup that is driving me nuts. The full file path is C:\Program Files\ATI\Support. It's been showing up ever since installing the drivers from the original CD.

What is causing it to open on boot, and how do I stop it. I've already gone through win.ini, sys.ini, msconfig, and tweakUI

System Specs:

Abit NF-7 motherboard
XP2500 Barton
512Mb Geil PC3200
LiteOn DVD/CDRW drive
Pioneer AO6 DVDRW
Maxtor 80Gb ATA133
Sapphire Radeon 9200SE 128Mb DDR
Dlink AirPlus Wireless NIC

Running Windows XP Pro, SP1a installed, latest drivers on everything.

Every ATI card I've ever installed the drivers and Multimedia Center for, there is usually a settings and options window (ATI Help Center) that pops up after install. On the lower left-hand corner of the ATI startup window there's usually an option to "load this window at startup" or something like that. If all you're getting is a folder and no options, looks like a bad driver/utilities install. Try re-installing and see if that fixes it.

Yep, you got it

I uninstalled the drivers & control panel, and then installed the new Catalyst drivers.

No more file opening, and everything is smooth as silk.

Thanks, JohnE.
