Network goes off at 7:30????

Hey guys!

Got a problem. DUH

I set up a home network over HPNA 1.0. It has been full of problems, but I eventually got it to work using an XP Pro PC as the PDC, One computer connected to it over ethernet, and the rest pna. At 7:30 every night, most of the computers in the house lose their network connections. All of the pcs in the house are running 98se, except for the ethernet pc which is XP home, and the server which is XP Pro. Any suggestions???

possibly your powersave settings (especially the bios ones) have a poke at these and make sure they are set sensibly

Look for light sources on timers, street lights and other electrical devices that turn on at 7:30 at your home and your neighbors' homes. Halogen lamps, dimmer switches can somtimes play havoc with home network connections.

parental controls maybe? i forgot a friend with a network and it goes off exactly at 8:00, all he can use is an messenger no internet. just that
