GTXP works in Suse/Red Hat/Mandrake Linux?

I have a unique oppritunity, well, my friend is going to part out some of his computer and sell it to me, and I was thinking about buying some parts and etc. But my computer I use now is my main computer, and when I buy his parts that'll be my main computer (it's faster ) so my box now will be the Linux. I plan to put back my Game Theather XP as my sound card. Now the question is, will that sound card work for Suse/Red Hat/Mandrake distros? I don't know which distro I want, so I listed those three, because those are the ones that I know I want to buy, but don't know which one. On a side note, I'm a complete "noob" in Linux.

Edit: There's no drivers on the Hercules' site with Linux drivers, which is another reason why I ask.

they are quite up on everything sound, including Game Theather XP
