Photoshop Help (contrast)

I'm sorry but I looked everywhere and I'm still a noob at most of the PhotoShop techniques, I am doing a tutorial but it is very vague. It wants me to "go to Selection>Contract and enter 2px for the value, click OK." ... does anyone know where this is? It's not Image>Adjustments>Brightness/Contrast because that does nothing. I tried the Adobe Help but I couldn't find anything with contrast or selection that related to this particular topic. Any ideas?

Make your selection, and then go to

Select ====> Modify ====> Contract.

contract and contrast are 2 different things.
