System clock loses sync

I have a DFI Lanparty NF2 Ultra mobo and whenever I use WindwosXP to sync the clock, after one night it will lose the sync by about 20 minutes. I do leave it on just crunching at night, but this had only been a recent problem with it. Any ideas?

It may be a problem with the CMOS battery, but it's a common issue...just a little worse than usual.

You can download a program that will sync the time every X minutes ... a google search should give you tons of results.

what are you using to sync?
Try analogx, they have a good utility

(are you saying using the Windows time service?)

YOu gotta watch.. you don't want to sync time with something like bangladesh. Sure it will return the right time.. but that doesn't include time to travel

and as Telexen said that could be a sign of bad cmos battery... but if you're syncing it.. I'd guess something is not working correctly.

Buz:

Try this Atomic Clock download, that will keep your time exact.

But I don't see how the cmos battery would make a difference since the comptuer is on 100% of the time, every day, every night. I synched the time with the windows thing and time.nist.gov, and the computer is NOT online during the night either. Like I stated, this is a recent problem, and I have it synched with the right location...
